It's official, we have transmitted for 20 years!!!

Kool. Born 28th November 1991, that's 20 years ago to the day. To say we are proud is a major understatement! What's been achieved by Kool in the last 20 years is unbelievable. At first we were broadcasting hardcore rave music to London then a year down the line we were organising events for our listeners to come and party with us.

We were the first to take the music out of London to the Midlands and shortly afterwards we took it to Amsterdam (94 Jungle in the Dam). After Amsterdam, we conquered Germany! We were the first organisation to take our UK rave music to those places and the rest is history. I know most of you who have been with us along the way already know this but for those that didn’t, now you do!

I would like to thank all those DJs & MCs from the early days who only wanted to be on Kool for no other reason but the love of the music. There was no money, no bookings, no labels, just love.

To all our listeners past and present, I really can't believe the faith and loyalty you have show us over the years, Kool listeners are the best in the world it would be really unfair to mention any names as there are so many but you know who you are. Also to all promoters, venue & club owners, everyone in our industry who has supported us over years thank you. It's been hard work and lots of ups and downs but would I do it again?? YES - 100%! We have met so many nice people along the way and made so many new friends, it's been a pleasure. A final big thank you all the DJs and MCs presently on Kool - one family - the Kool Family, keep on doing what you're doing and progress along the way, lets aim for another 20 years and maybe another 10 awards at least!
